At a Ripe Old Age.
On Sunday last at the home of her son Dan Smith in Fremont township, occurred the death of Mrs. Clarinda Holcomb. Mrs. Holcomb was one of the very oldest people residing in the county having passed the ripe old age of 9{?}years. Her home has been in this county about forty years, she having come here from Canada. The funeral was held Tuesday of this week, the remains being taken to the cemetery at Eliota for burial. Besides Mr. Smith, there are {illegible} older {illegible} surviving, Mrs. B. F. Headington, Mrs. Cynthia {illegible} residing in Wisconsin and William, whose home is in North Dakota.
