The library in Ottumwa may be able to help you out. They have newspapers on microfilm and you just may be able to find what you are looking for.

Give them a call and have somebody do a look up for you. Or, at least ask if they will. If you write, have as much info as possible so that it may be looked up fir you.

Also maybe the Homefinders in Ottumwa could help you out too. I found my g. grandfather there.
