I cut and pasted the original letter from a person I am trying to help. Not my family but said I would help her out. I checked all my Wapello CO IA books and could not find any death listing for Benjamin or any of the family. I also checked the old original Monroe CO IA site http://www.iamonroe.org and could just find his wife and infant children who are buried at Hayden in Monroe County Iowa. Quite possibly the library at Albia may have the info we are looking for. Do they have an online link for the library where a volunteer may look this up for us. This familiy is not in the 1846 or 1847 census either for Wapello CO IA. Thanks again for all your help. It is depply appreciated.
