KATHARINE KNOTT
Katharine L. Knott, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Chicago and Phoenix, Arizona, died Monday, December 18th, 1978. She was born in Farmington, Iowa, the daughter of William H. and Estella Tucker Knott. She was a graduate of the Farmington High School and of Northwestern University. A registered nurse, she was Director of the Nursing School of Henrotin Hospital in Chicago; served in the Army Nurse Corps overseas in WWII; was area consultant for Nursing Schools of Indian Hospitals in four states, stationed in Phoenix.
She was a member of Chapter O.P.E.O. in Farmington; West Congregational Church of Phoenix; and of the American Legion.
A brother, Staton Knott of Columbus, Ohio, and a sister, Gladys K. Harbison, of St. Petersburg, survive. Private services were held in St. Petersburg.
