Vera McCullough

Vera F. McCullough, 97, of Parkview Care Center died at 8:19 p.m. Nov. 7, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born June 14, 1893, in Van Buren County to Samuel and Rhoda Day McCullough.

A Keosauqua High School graduate, she moved to Fairfield in 1918. She was a bookkeeper for 30 years for Dexter Co. in Fairfield and also was a part-time bookkeeper for Cable Lumber Co. in Fairfield. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield and a 72-year member of Chapter C of PEO.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

The service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 1990 at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
