Arlene J. Lawrence

Arlene J. Lawrence, 66, of 602 W. Merrill Ave., died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 1989, at Jefferson County Hospital.

Behner Funeral Home is making arrangements for a funeral at a later date. The body will be cremated.

Mrs. Lawrence was born April 12, 1923, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Grayson Glenn and Elma Enlow Anderson. She married Lou F. Lawrence Dec. 20, 1949, in Iowa City. She had lived in the Fairfield community for one year. The couple previously lived in El Gondo, Calif. She was employed at Collins Radio for several years before her retirement.

Survivors include her husband of Fairfield; two daughters, Bonnie Crow of Shellsburg and Rebecca Jones of Worthing, S.D.; three stepsons, Robert A. Lawrence of Ingelwood, Calif., Roger Lawrence of California and Ronnie Lawrence of Wisconsin; two granddaughters; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; a sister Mildred Houstman of Anamosa and a brother Elmo Anderson of Warsaw, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
