Mr. Irvin O'Neal Young, 73, 617 S.W. Elm Street, Ankeny, Iowa, passed away October 2, 1989 at Veteran's Hospital.
Mr. Young was retired from John Deere and from Law Enforcement Academy, Camp Dodge in the maintenance dept. He was a veteran of WW II and a Viet Nam Army Veteran. Mr. Young was a member of Masonic Lodge Auburn No. 592, Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, daughter, Jean Grapentine, Ankeny, two sisters, Dessie Webb, Centerville, Ia., Wilda Brooks, Kansas City, Mo. and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Monday, October 9, 1989 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Douds.
