Mildred M. Maddix DeHart

Mildred Mae Maddix DeHart, daughter of E.C. an(d) Anna Hawkings Maddix, was born Mary 29, 1909 at Stockport and died Thursday, January 19, 1989 at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 79.

She graduated from Stockport High School and lived in Chicago, Ill., Berlin and Tomahawk, Wisc., and Tucson, Arizona.

She married Delmar W. DeHart January 24, 1931 in Chicago. He died in 1977. Two brothers, Verne and Roy Maddix also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Harold of Tomahawk, Wisc., and Richard of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two grandchildren, Kenneth DeHart, Tomahawk and Paula DeHart-Erickson, Madison, Wisc. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Heather and James DeHart, Tomahawk, two foster grandsons, Raul Granillo and Paul Lobato, Albuquerque, a brother, Wayne Maddix, Atlanta, Ga., other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, January 24, 1989 at 1:30 p.m. in Center Chapel United Methodist Church south of Keosauqua. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
