Helen Warner

Helen May Warner, 80, of Good Samaritan Center, Ottumwa, Iowa died at 3:20 p.m. November 6, 1989 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa.

She was born June 10, 1908 in Wapello County to Owen P. and Maude May Hobbs Williams. She married Neil R. Warner on April 22, 1931 in Keosauqua. He died July 28, 1987.

She lived in Bentonsport and Fort Madison before moving to Ottumwa in 1983. She attended Evangelistic Temple.

She is survived by three daughters, Bernice Hinton of Draksville, Betty Stratton of Shenandoah and Helen Bullard of Fort Madison; six sons, Robert and Ronnie of Ottumwa, Charles of Hamilton, Illinois, Larry of Wever, Joe and David of Fort Madison; 44 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by infant triplets Judy, Jerry and Gary, two brothers, Jim and Virgil Williams, and a sister, Sylvia.

Services were held Thursday, November 9, 1989 at Evangelistic Temple with Reverend Tommy Brunk officiating. Burial was in Bentonsport Cemetery in Bentonsport, Iowa.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
