Myrtle Holmes

Myrtle Lee Holmes, 85, Bonaparte, died at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 1989 at the Donnellson Manor Care Center.

Mrs. Holmes was born August 25, 1904 at Donnellson. She spent most of her life in the Bonaparte area. She was a member of the Bonaparte Baptist.

Surviving are a son, DeWayne Kirchner, Donnellson; a daughter, Betty Moen, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; a sister, Edith Roth, Farmington; a brother, Glen Martin, Farmington; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held October 2, 1989 in the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. Reverend Robert Hambright officiated. Burial was at the Bonaparte Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Heart Fund. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.

Myrtle Holmes

The name of the first husband of Myrtle Holmes of Bonaparte, Conrad Kirchner, was omitted from information submitted for her obituary which appeared in Monday's Daily Democrat. He preceded her in death.
