Viola K. Evans

Services for Viola K. Evans, 90, Farmington, were held May 8, 1989 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. The Reverend Ron Hass officiated. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

Mrs. Evans died at 5 a.m. Friday, May 5, 1989 at her home.

She was born February 24, 1899 at Donnellson. She moved from rural Bonaparte to Farmington in 1980. She was a member of the former Farmington Congregational Church.

On January 13, 1922 at Fort Madison, she was married to Albert Evans, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Herbert of Rochester, Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Evangeline) Longanecker, Farmington; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother. Her parents were August and Rosena Spohnheimer Schriever.

A memorial is being established with the Farmington EMT unit. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
