Buelah Muree Lowery

Services for Buelah Muree Lowery, 88, Aurora, Colo., formerly of Fort Madison, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Barr Memorial Chapel in Fort Madison.

The Dr. Raymond Boulter will officiate. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Lowery was born Dec. 13, 1899, at Bonaparte. She moved from Fort Madison to Colorado in 1948. She was a member of the Santa Fe United Methodist Church of Fort Madison and the Royal Neighbors of America.

On April 20, 1921, at Farmington, she was married to Frank Onel Lowery, who died Oct. 1967.

Surviving are three sons, Frank O. Lowry, Jr., Fort Madison, Bernard Lowery, Wheatridge, Colo, and Douglas Lowery Fairbanks, Alaska; six grandchildren; five great=grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters. Her parents were Bernhardt and Alice Irene Maloy (Malloy) Pechstein.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Barr Memorial Chapel where the family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

A memorial is being established with the Santa Fe established with the Santa Fe United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
