Travis W. Billingsley

Travis W. Billingsley, son of Wayne and Maria Clark Billingsley, was born July 10, 1973 in Keosauqua and departed this life the morning of Friday, January 8, 1988 at University Hospitals in Iowa City at the age of 14.

He lived his life in the Farmington community and was a freshman student at Harmony Community High School where he was a member of the football, basketball and track teams.

Surviving are his parents of rural Farmington, two brothers, Dale and Matthew, both at home, and grandparents, Bernard and Maxine Clark and Kate Billingsley, all of Bonaparte. Also surviving are great-grandparents, Harold and Mary Davis and Flossie Clark, all of Bonaparte and Zeffa Billingsley, Winfield.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 10, 1988 at 1:30 p.m. in the Farmington United Methodist Church with Reverend James Rozendaal officiating. Interment was in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home.
