Dollie M. Snoddy

Dollie M. Snoddy, 65, of Douds died Jan. 12, 1988, at Davenport Medical Center in Davenport.

She was born Jan. 11, 1923, in Bloomfield, Mo. to Alex and Oma Bowman McRoy. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She married Otis Cravens Sept. 17, 1941. She later married John Snoddy. He died in 1979.

She is survived by two daughters, Frances Roberts of Milan, Ill., and Frieda Eaves of Davenport; a son, Robert Cravens of Geneseo, Ill.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kay Lay and Ida Robinson of Bloomfield, Mo., Mary Gilbee of Overland, Mo., and Grace Collins of Dexter, Mo.; and three brothers, Bill McRoy of Bloomfield, Mo., Herman McRoy of Overland, Mo., and Bob McRoy of Greenville, Ky., four stepsons, Pat, Bernie, Tom and Mick Snoddy; 2 stepdaughters, Sandra James and Dianna Snoddy and several step grandchildren.

The service was held Jan. 15, 1988 at 1 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with George Wemmie officiating. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds.

Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
