Frances Wallingford

Frances Gertrude Wallingford, 92, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 1988 at the Donnellson ManorCare Center.

Mrs. Wallingford was born December 21, 1895 in Jackson Township of Henry County, Iowa and was a former resident of Hillsboro. She was of the Baptist faith.

On March 27, 1912 at Bonaparte, she was married to Bernard W. Wallingford, who preceded her in death.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, two brothers, three sisters and five great-grandchildren. Her parents were Albert and Sarah Saums Breazeale.

Services were held at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson, Monday, February 15, 1988 at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Dean Graber officiated. Burial was in Vale Cemetery near Bonaparte.

A memorial is being established with Vale Cemetery. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
