Emma N. Vale

Emma N. Vale was born January 14, 1891 at Webster City, Iowa and died the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 20, 1988 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, at the age of 97.

She married Bruce R. Vale, who preceded her in death.

They farmed in Harrisburg Township north of Bonaparte and retired to Hillsboro. She later moved to Bozeman, Montana and returned to the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua in 1987.

She was a member of Chapter AB, PEO in Bonaparte.

Mrs. Vale is survived by three cousins in Hoove Whitness, Scotland and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1988 at 9:30 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Don Morrison officiating. Interment was in Vale Cemetery north of Bonaparte.
