Anna Beulah Austin, daughter of James C. and Matilda Landreth Austin was born January 3, 1918 in the farm home near Keosauqua.
She attended the country school near their home and graduated from the Keosauqua High School with the class of 1936. She finished a secretarial course in Kansas City and worked for several places for several years.
She was married to Earl Beck August 20, 1950, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael and wife Marsha and grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristen and brother Reuben of Keosauqua and sisters, Florence Smith of Omaha, Nebr., Orpha Morgan of Dallas, Texas, Mabel Forbes and Mary Morrison of Fairfield. Her entire married life was spent in the Quad Cities.
Her death occurred Feb. 3, 1988 in St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport at 5:28 p.m.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bettendorf with burial in Davenport Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a baby brother and sister.
