Mildred Topping

Mildred Florence Topping, 75, of Birmingham died Nov. 28, 1986, at Elm View Care Center in Burlington.

She was born Dec. 12, 1910, south of Birmingham to Samuel and Rosena Sherod Topping.

Living her entire life in the Birmingham United Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Women. She was employed by Birmingham library for several years and was a Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by two brothers, Clem of Stokport and John of Fairfield; a sister, Gertrude Dille of Birmingham.

The service was 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Stockport, the Rev. Charles McCracken officiating. Burial was in Winchester Cemetery.

Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham was in charge of arrangements.
