Ruth Hudson

Ruth Hudson, 75, of New London, Dec. 23, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Born Dec. 24, 1910, at Cincinnati, Iowa, she was the daughter of Isac(?) and Mattie Rowland Henderson. On Nov. 26, 1927, at Centerville, she married Jesse Hudson; who died Nov. 30, 1978.

She was a member of the New London Church of Christ.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry, New London, Billie, Lockridge, and Jack, Hillsboro; one sister, Audrey Rogers, Unionville; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.

Services for Mrs. Hudson will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the New London Church of Christ with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. Burial will be in West Pleasant Cemetery, Cincinnati, at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

A memorial has been established for the Ronald McDonald House, Iowa City.
