Meda Remick

Meda Grace LeFevre Remick, 72, of 222 S. Ninth, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1987, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.

Born Sept. 13, 1915, in Abingdon, Ill., she was the daughter of Harry F. and Annie M. Evans LeFevre. She married Kenneth Remick Jan. 18, 1947, at Kahoka, Mo. He died May 27, 1976.

She had worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant and was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Railroad Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Abingdon High School.

Surviving are one son, James Remick, Burlington; one stepson, Russell Remick, Hillsboro; one brother, Lyle LeFevre, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Bethel Lutes, Bear, Del., and Kathryn LeFevre, Burlington; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Lunning Chapel.

The service for Mrs. Remick will be 1 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Bill Trump Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for the First Congregational Church and the Henry County Dialysis Fund.
