Warren L. Deuser

Warren Lee Deuser, 60, died at his home in Mt. Pleasant Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1987.

He was born March 30, 1927, in Hedrick, the son of Carl and Elsie Johnson Deuser. He married Ledoris Polson on Aug. 12, 1969, in Memphis, Mo.

A graduate of the Birmingham High School, he had served in the Navy in World War II. He was retired from John Morrell Co. and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Fairfield, Masonic Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 39.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Ernest Jacobs, Phoenix, Ariz.; five daughters, Diana Seering, Mt. Pleasant; Doris Rauscher, Ottumwa; Donna Connelly and Diana Farmer; both of Brighton; and Deborah Berreth, Mt. Pleasant; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Willis, Fairfield; and one sister, Wanda Warner, Bonaparte.

His parents preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Fremont Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Deuser Cemetery south of Martinsburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fremont Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
