Audrey M. Giberson

DONNELLSON - Audrey M. Giberson, 61, Donnellson, died at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Mrs. Giberson was born Nov. 14, 1926, at Swansea, South Wales, in Great Britain. She had been a resident of Donnellson 25 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Donnellson.

On Oct. 9, 1945, at Neath, South Wales, she was married to Guy Giberson, who survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Mona Cryer Gordon, Shewwen, South Wales; two sons, Jim Giberson, Stockport, and Jay Giberson, Primrose; a daughter, Janet Giberson, Donnellson; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Gordon, and by a son, Jerry, who was killed in Vietnam War.

The body is at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Shirley Rozendaal will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Argyle.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home where the family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

A memorial is being established with the American Legion. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
