Daisy Ayer

MILTON - Daisy Lucille Ayer, 76, died at 5:41 p.m. Nov. 25, 1986, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born Ja. 6, 1910, in Scotland County, Mo., to Chesley and Gertrude Bowman Kinney. She married Benjamin Frank Lunsford Sept. 29, 1928 in Bloomfield. He died Oct. 4, 1944. She married George Ayer, May 25, 1951, in Lancaster, Mo. He died Oct. 4, 1961.

She was a housekeeper for 14 years at Davis County Hospital. A member of Church of Nazarene in Bloomfield, and lived in Davis and Van Buren Counties most of her life.

She is survived by five sons, Wayne Lunsford, Benny Ayer, and Lloyd Lunsford of Decatur, Ill., Raymond Lunsford of Iowa Park, Texas and Billy Lunsford of West Burlington; two daughters, Betty Critchfield of Decatur, Ill., and Joanna Snow of Unionville; 32 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Florence.

The service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Wagler Funereal Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. John Hulsizer officiating.

Burial will be in Barker Cemetery in Scottland(sp) County, Mo.

Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
