Catherine A. Roberts-Weir-Miller

Catherine A. Roberts-Weir-Miller, died Sept. 23, 1987 at her home in Davenport, Iowa.

she was born Dec. 17, 1915 in Lincoln, Nebr. to James and Sarah Roberts and she formerly lived in Douds and Ottumwa before moving to Davenport in 1980. She had been employed at the Iowa State Extension Office, retiring in 1978 as assistant service co-ordinator of low cost housing.

She is survived by four daughters, Jacquelyn Burns, Garden Grove, Calif., Jerrolyn Byrd, Billings, Montana, Peggy McKittrick and Jeanne Hauk of Davenport, four sons, James and Michael Weir, Davenport and John R. and Steven M. Miller of Minneapolis; 29 grandchildren, 22 great-grand children; two brothers, Marion Roberts of Milton and a sister, Margaret Aeschliman(err) of Long Beach, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Marlene Weir.

Services were held Saturday, Sept. 26, 1987 at the Reece Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Douds.
