PLUMER, BESWICK, BROCKMAN, BENBOW

William F. Plumer.

William F. Plumer died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.T. Brockman, in Ft. Madison on Monday, Nov. 29, from the effects of injuries received when an automobile truck struck him Nov. 14th.

He was born in Marietta, Ohio, March 4, 1942, and in 1856 married Miss Sarah Frances Beswick at Winchester, Iowa. They lived in Van Buren county for forty-five years, most of the time on a farm. For several years he was engaged in the stock and grain business with his son, Pitt, at Hillsboro and Stockport and about a year ago they went to live with their daughter, Mrs. Brockman.

The children are Mrs. J.L. Benbow, Mrs. E.T. Brokcman, Miss Grace Plumer, Pitt Plumer, G.G. Plumer and Dr. J.J. Plumer. The last named lives at Hailey, Idaho, and was unable to attend the funeral because of the very serious illness of his son.
