EATH OF FORMER RESIDENT
Henry Churchyard Passed Away at Greenacres, Wash., Tuesday Henry Churchyard, a pioneer farmer
and live stock feeder of Eagle township, died at his home in Greenacres, Wash., about 11 o'clock Tuesday mprning, according to a telegram received
by relatives here. He had been in failing health since early last spring.
Mr. Churchyard was 74 years of age. For many years he was engaged in farming in Eagle township and was an extensive operator in the live stock business. About twenty-two years ago
he disposed of his farming interests here and with his family moved to Greenacres, Wash., where he operated a small fruit ranch and where he continued to make his home until his death.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Roy Woodward of Ft. Bragg, Calif.; Mrs. MacLaren of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. James Bell of Los Angeles, Calif. One son, Wendell
Churchyard, passed away in Nevada two or three years ago. He is also survived by one sister, Miss Mae Churchyard of Ripon, Wis., and one brother, Fred Churchyard of Fairmont, Minn.
Mr. Churchyard was held in high esteem by many old Hawarden friends and neighbors who learned of his death with keen regret.
