Mary A. Oosterhuis
Mrs. Mary Oosterhuis, 81, Hull, passed away Saturday.
July 18, at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull
Mrs. Oosterhuis was born May 26, 1911. at South Holland, Illinois, the daughter of Arie and Delia (Braschler) Van Driel. She was raised at South Holland.
On January 11, 1936 she married John Oosterhuis at South Holland. They continued to live there until 1972, when they retired to Hull.
In April of this year, they both became residents of Pleasant Acres.
Mrs. Oosterhuis was a member of Hope Christian
Reformed Church of Hull, where she had belonged to the Circle of Hope.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Alvina and her husband, Gene Bales, of St. Charles, Missouri; and Ivadel, and her husband, Steve De Jong, of Hull; six grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her twin brother, Harry Van Driel, and sister, Alice Wiltjer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, at Hope Christian Reformed Church Hull, with Rev. Aldon Kuiper officiating. Interment followed
at Hope Cemetery in Hull, under the direction of the Kraai- Oolman Funeral Home, Hull
