DICK VAN ES
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Van Etten Funeral Home with the Rev Raymond Van Heukelom officiating. Burial was made in the Orange City cemetery.
Dick Van Es passed away Saturday morning after nine months hospitalization in Orange City for
a respritory ailment.
Mr. Van Es was born on a farm near Newkirk in 1892. Survivors are two children: Raymond Van Es of Paramount, Calif., and Nellie (Mrs. Barney Peters) of Meadow Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Canrad Jacobs of Orange City, and Mrs. Harold Pas of Arlington, Va.
Preceding in death are one son, Henry Lloyd, who died several years ago; one brother, Gerrit in 1955 and one sister, Mrs. John Jacobs in 1942.
