Mrs. Herman Van Engen
Mrs. Herman Van Engen, 77, of Yucaipa, Calif., formerly of Hull, died Sunday while visiting relatives in Hull. Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hope Christian Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. William D. Van Dyken officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Redlands, Calif.

Mrs. Van Engen, the former Nellie Pap, was born April 10,1907, in Hull. She married Herman Van Engen Jan. 22. 1930, at Doon. They farmed near Doon until 1940 and from 1940 until 1946 they operated the City Meat Market in Hull. In 1946 they moved to California.

She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Redlands. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry of Fontana, Calif, and Loren of Yucaipa; three brothers, John of Artesia, Calif., Walter of Rock Rapids, and Gerrit of Luverne, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Gerrit (Dora) Van Engen of Adrian, Mich., and three grandchildren
