Grace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Vogel, was born January 14,1897 at South Holland, Illinois. She lived her youth and attended school in South Holland and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She was united in marriage to Adrianus Van Bochove of Sioux Center, Iowa on July 22, 1927 at
rural Sioux Center. They lived in the Sioux Center and Hull areas. She was a member of the
Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Sioux Center. Mr. Van Bochove passed away May 18, 1956.
She is survived by her two children: Irene Blumhagen of Phoenix, Arizona; and Andrew of
Phoenix, Arizona; three step-children: William of Rock Valley, Iowa; Case of Hudson, South Dakota; and Anna Teunissen of Rock Valley, Iowa; two grandchildren and fifteen step-grandchildren; thirty two step-great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild; one brother, William Vogel of Jenison, Michigan; and Effie La Bryn of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two children, one brother, two stepbrothers, and three
step-sisters.
