Obituary: HAWARDEN, IOWA- Annette Van Bochove, 32, of Hawarden, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at her residence in Hawarden.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Hawarden with Pastor Jessie Moore and Pastor Ty Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Friday, with the family present from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden.
Annette Jo Van Bochove was born January 18, 1975 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Adrian "Jim" and Janet (Kooima) Van Bochove. She attended school in Bridgewater, SD, Sioux Falls, SD, Plattsmouth High in Nebraska and also Alcester, SD. Annette made her home in Hawarden, Iowa where she was employed at Coilcraft, Iowa Lamb, Casey’s General Store and later at Dollar General.
She enjoyed her family and her kids. She liked cooking for others, talking to friends on the computer, watching her niece, and spending time with her Grandma Kooima.
Annette is survived by her children, Anna and Corey; her close friend Felippe; her parents, Janet Van Bochove of Hawarden and Adrian "Jim" Van Bochove of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Stan Van Bochove and Casey Van Bochove and his wife Amanda all of Hawarden; her niece, Lindsey; her grandmother, Johanna Van Bochove of Yankton, South Dakota and other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandpa and Grandma Kooima; her Grandpa Case Van Bochove; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
