Edward Vander Werff, 88, of Hudsonville, Mich., formerly of Hull, died Monday, Nov. 25, in Hudsonville. Services were at, 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. The Rev. Richard Moore officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mr. Vander Werff was born Feb. 18, 1897, in The Netherlands. He married Katherine Brunsting in February, 1918, at Hull. She died in Feb. 1952. He married Kate Brunsting in Dec. 1952 at Bellflower, Calif. She died in 1971. Survivors include two daughters, Greda Hoekstra of Hudsonville and Mrs. Albert (Marion) Karsemeyer of Redlands, Calif.; a son, William in Japan; a stepson, Cal Brunsting of Bellflower; 14 grandchildren and 47 greatgrandchildren.
