Mrs ANNA VANDER WAL
Mrs. Anna Vander Wal, 84, of. Hawarden died Monday, May,22, in the. Sioux Center hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, in the Christian Reformed Church in Hawarden. The Rev. Marvin Vander Vliet officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center. Visitation will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, in the church.

Mrs. Vander Wal, the former Anna Bosch, was born Nov. 6, 1900, in The Netherlands. She married William Vander Wal, May 9, 1922, inThe Netherlands. They came to the United States in 1954 and made their home at Hull. He died in 1972. She later moved to Hawarden. Mrs. Vander Wal was a member of the Christian Reformed Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mina De Jong of Hawarden; one son, Felipe of Mar Del Plata, Argentina; one sister, Mrs. Baukje Talsma in The Netherlands; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
