Survived by: Wife of 46 years, Clara Crouch of Manilla, IA; daughters, Georgene VonTersch of Lakewood, CO, and Meredith (spouse, Don) Armentrout of Harlan, IA; brother, Virgil (spouse, Mildred) Crouch of Irwin, IA; sister-in-law, Bernice Crouch of Irwin, IA; grandchildren, Rod VonTersch, Shari Parker, Dana Armentrout, and Drew Armentrout; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends

Marriages: (1) Lucille I. Carter, Jan. 27, 1930, Harlan, IA (2) Clara H. Weems, Oct. 11, 1959, Lutheran Church in Charter Oak, IA.

Employment: He bought his first truck shortly after he was able to drive, and did trucking in the Irwin, IA., area. Together with his brother, Virgil (also a trucker), they formed Crouch Brothers Trucking. Also with his brother, they bought the grain elevator in Kirkman, IA, and moved it to Irwin. After their partnership ended, Harold continued at the elevator as owner and operator for 30 years. He retired in 1973.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, Irwin United Methodist Church, Irwin, IA; past member, Irwin School Board; helped plan and develop the Rosman Glendale Golf Course. Harold liked hunting, fishing, woodworking, bowling, golfing and driving his golf cart.
