Funeral services: Wednesday, June 8, 2005, Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home, Harlan, IA; Pastor James Warren of the First Baptist Church in Harlan officiated. Burial was in the Harlan Cemetery in Harlan, IA.

Survived by: Daughter, Kathy (spouse, Steven) Sutton of Perry, IA; sister, Winona (spouse, Paul) Beck of Ocala, FL; grandsons, Mike Conrad and Matt (spouse, Misty) Conrad, all of Perry, IA; great-granddaughters, Allison Conrad and Madison Conrad, both of Perry, IA; other relatives and friends

Predeceased by: Parents, Oscar and Susie (nee Stalder) Goshorn; husband of 57 years, Lafe O. Croft (deceased June 14, 1989, Harlan, IA); brothers, Orville Goshorn, Waldron Goshorn, and Robert Goshorn

Education: attended school in Shelby, IA, and graduated from Shelby High School, Class of 1931

Marriage: Lafe Owen Croft, Aug. 11, 1931, Savannah, MO

Employment: Early in their married life, Agnes worked several jobs, including driving a school bus in Irwin, IA, as well as helping her husband in the Skelly tank wagon business. Later, she was a nurse’s aide and dietary aide for Baptist Memorial Homes (Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan, IA.).

Hobbies/Interests: former member, First Baptist Church in Harlan, IA; attended church in Perry, IA, as her health allowed. She excelled in baking pies. Agnes enjoyed cooking and loved to read, liked sewing, quilting, and crocheting.
