Employment: 1941: Eugene began trucking with his own truck; 1954-1964, employed as a salesman for Squeeler Feeds in Harlan, IA, and later for Peets Feed of Council Bluffs, IA. He received sales awards each year from 1968-1974. Eugene also sold seed corn for McCurdy and Cargill. He retired in 1980.
Hobbies/Interests: Member, Christ’s Church in Harlan, IA; volunteer fireman in Harlan; member, Shelby County Fair Association. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and travel.
