Employment: After leaving business school, she was employed by Myrtue Memorial Hospital Medical Records department for several years. After her marriage, she moved to their farm southeast of Harlan and was a homemaker, helping on the farm and raising their family.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Harlan, IA, where she had served as the St. Anne’s Guild president. She loved to grow flowers and produce for the family. Mary enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and jigsaw puzzles.
