Employment: Employed at both Elm Crest Retirement Community and Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan, IA, and various Council Bluffs nursing homes, until her 1992 retirement.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, First United Methodist Church, Harlan, IA; member, Order of Eastern Star Lebanon Chapter #8, Harlan, IA. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, reading, bowling, and sewing, and she loved flowers of all kinds.
