Education: attended Omaha Public Schools; graduated from Iowa Western Community College LPN Nursing Program; in 1987, she completed her RN training.

Marriage: Allan Monroe Shill, April 7, 1956, Omaha, NE; On Easter Sunday, 2008, Beverly and Allan renewed their wedding vows.

Employment: After completing her LPN certificate, she worked as a nurse in area nursing homes and schools; 1987 – 2008, Beverly worked at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. Retired in 2006.

Hobbies, Interests: member of several professional nursing organizations; She enjoyed vacationing with her grandchildren, and liked watching them play sports. Enjoyed cooking; loved to spend time outdoors, camping and canoeing. Beverly, whose favorite color was purple, was a fan of Duke University sports and Husker football.
