1940OBITUARY - LYLE CHESTER CONLEY
Lyle Chester CONLEY, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo CONLEY was born Feb. 29, 1928 and passed away at his home in Knowlton, Iowa at 2:00 pm Dec 24, 1940 at age 12 years nine months and 24 days. His entire life was spent in the Diagonal and Knowlton communities.
He is survived by his parents and two brother, Lester and Eugene "Gene", his grandmother Mrs. Ida DOLEN. He is also survived by a number of aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
He will be sorely missed by all who know him and called him a friend.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Nazarene Church in charge of Mrs. Rosa CONROW Pastor, and interment was made in the Knowlton [Centenary] Cemetery.
