IOWA FUNERAL SET FOR WOMAN, 78

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie C. COFFMAN, 78, of 322, W. 17th, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home at Tingley, Iowa, Reverend WEEDE officiating. She died Monday evening [March 10, 1958] at her home [Wichita, Kansas].

She was born March 15, 1879, at Mount Ayr, Iowa. She was married to Merton M. COFFMAN, Feb. 21, 1896, at Tingley. He died in 1955. She came to Wichita from Towanda, Kan., in 1933. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Tingley.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline EMIGH, 2941 Shelton; three sons, Max G., Benton, Kan., Dallos O., of the home address and Miles M., 440 S. Osage; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma COFFMAN, Clarksdale, Mo., and Mrs. Lettie RICE, Ellston, Iowa.

Burial will be in Tingley Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Paul RICE, Mark OWENS, G. A. WYANT, John ENGLAND, Floyd ENGLAND, Harry ENGLAND, and Walter ENGLAND.

Cochran Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

Nellie was the daughter of Samuel ENGLAND and Drusilla (BULTER) ENGLAND.

NOTE: Nellie and Merton's son Earl Alvin COFFMAN was born on May 9, 1898, in Iowa, and died September 26, 1906, with interment at Tingley Cemetery.
