OBITUARY - LEOLA M. (SMITH) TROWER

Leola M. TROWER, 80, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Mount Ayr, died August 16, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 19, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Terry ROBERTS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. There will be family visitation 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. Memorials will be established in her name.

Mrs. TROWER, daughter of Nettie May (ELEE) and Henry SMITH, was born September 3, 1923, in Eagleville, Mo.. On October 26, 1940, she married Dale M. TROWER in Bethany, Mo. She was a farmwife.

Survivors include her husband, Dale TROWER, of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Larry TROWER of King City, Mo., and Ron (wife Cassandra) TROWER of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a daughter, Jane (husband Tom) SICKELS of Cedar Rapids and nine grandchildren.
