OBITUARY - KENNETH ARTHUR THOMPSON

Kenneth Arthur THOMPSON, age 87, died February 25, 2000 following a heart attack. Ken was born on April 30, 1912 in Redding, Iowa. After serving in the Army, he moved to Seattle after and went to work for Boeing where he met and married Lucile BIRD in 1946. He was a chef for 20 years before opening THOMPSON's Antiques which became his enjoyment until his retirement. His love was his family and his special grandchildren. He spent many days at Longacres as well as golfing, square dancing, and bowling. He was a true character and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Lucile in 1985. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon WARD (Richard); his son, Terry THOMPSON (Laurel) and four grandchildren, Jessica and Milana WARD and Jeffrey and Trisha THOMPSON. He is also survived by brother, Howard; sister, Elizabeth of Grant City, MO. and brother, Texas Duane of Seattle.
