OBITUARY - GERALD LEE "JERRY" HALL

Gerald Lee HALL, “Jerry”, son of Albert Milton & Cora Amanda HALL, was born on January 9, 1942 in Benton, IA. He departed this life at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr on June 10, 2008 at the age of 66 years, 152 days.

Left to cherish his memories are his three sons Jonathon HALL of Austin, TX, James HALL of Pelzer, SC, and Jeffrey HALL of Austin, TX; three granddaughters Christina, Cayla, and Cayden HALL of Pelzer, SC; five sisters, Alberta MOYES of Thornton, CO; Eloise (Robert) SCHMIDT of Sumter, SC; Oveda (Lowell) WATSON of Ellston, IA; Lovena (Richard) PIERICK of Minneapolis, MN; Glenda MARLOW of Ellston, IA; and Linda Gayle (Donald) LILJEBLAD of Penn Valley, CA; sisters-in-law Estelle HALL of Holts Summit, MO and Arnita Gail HALL of Dalzell, SC; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Cora & Albert HALL; three brothers Albert Rae HALL, Master Sergeant John Edward HALL, and Senior Master Sergeant Lowell Junior HALL; one sister Viola & husband Howard NICKELS; brothers-in-law George MOYES & Hugh MARLOW.

Jerry graduated from Mount Ayr High School in May, 1960. His work career included owner of a Shell Service Station in Des Moines, IA; Paving & Concrete Inc. in Chicago, IL; Shaw Restaurant & Lounge and Rental Real Estate Property Management at Carolina Mobile Court in Sumter, SC. Jerry was one of a kind. Always had a smile on his face, was fun loving, kind and considerate. He was a wonderful Father, Grandfather, Brother, and everyones Friend. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, reading history books, music, dancing, and helping others. He loved all animals, especially his puppy Alli and kitten Zander.
