OBITUARY - MRS. CARL LUNNEY.

Emma GREGG LUNNEY, daughter of Jonathan and Mary GREGG, was born in Barnesville, Ohio, July 10, 1862.

She was united in marriage to Carl Lunney April 19, 1882. To this union was born one child, Cecile Ethel, who preceded her in death in October, 1927.

She and her family came to Mount Ayr in March, 1889, where she lived until death called her in her sleep January 24, at the age of 68 years.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian church of Mount Ayr and was always ready to do her part in all church activities.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Carl LUNNEY, one sister, Mrs. Lola Dillman of Oakley, one brother, Park Gregg of Carlisle, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. S. MENOHER, pastor of the local Methodist church, and interment was at the Chariton cemetery Monday [Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa].
