OBITUARY - U. S. G. LYNCH.

U. S. G. LYNCH died Sunday morning, January 20, 1929. He had been in poor health for some time but his condition was not regarded as serious. Mr. LYNCH was born June 6, 1867, in Green (sic) county, Penn., and his age at death was sixty-one years, seven months and fifteen days. His childhood was passed near Wichita, Kansas. He came to Redding, Iowa, when he reached manhood. There, in 1892, he was united in marriage to Miss Etta MILLER. From Redding he moved to Mount Ayr about the year 1900, and his residence has been here since that date. His wife died on August 26, 1921, leaving him and an only daughter, Gladys, now Mrs. Leo KLEBER of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

On December 20, 1924, he married Mrs. Lizzie FARMER, of Mount Ayr. In addition to his widow and daughter, he is survived by a brother, Asa L. LYNCH, of Wichita, and a little grandchild, Kathleen KLEBER.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home, and was conducted by Rev. G. S. GLADFELTER, pastor of the United Presbyterian church. Interment was in the Redding cemetery [Redding, Ringgold County, Iowa].
