CHARLES B. DODGE DEAD
------------------------------------
Former Grinnellian Passes Away in
California

Mrs. W.L. Corrough has received a letter announcing the death of her cousin, Charles B. Dodge, formerly of Grinnell, March 12 in Long Beach, Calif., where he was visiting his mother, Mrs. Daniel Dodge. He had been ill with flu but his death was unexpected as he was a strong, vigorous man. Mr. Dodge while in Grinnell conducted the mill which had been founded by his father, Daniel Dodge. His son, Harry, was a student for a time in college here. After leaving Grinnell he was employed by the International Harvester Company for which his son has also been working. He is survived by his mother and son.

Warren Dodge, who was held up recently in his store of Pasadena, Calif., was a cousin of deceased.

Mr. Dodge had been making his home in Montana but had been in California with his mother since about Christmas time.
