MRS. HEISHMAN SERVICES SET

Lucille P. Heishman, 72, of Grinnell died Friday, March 11, at Marshalltown Manor Nursing Home of complications resulting from an automobile accident last Oct. 19.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Anthony G. Farrell officiating. Organist will be Kathleen Heffner, and vocalists will be Sylvia Dixon and Mary Henderson.

Pallbearers will be John Crawford, Phillip Heishman, Loren Kriegel, Joe Kriegel, Mike Kriegel and Rick Kriegel. Honorary bearers will be Randy Collum, Dennis Collum, Mike Collum, Rodney See, Kevin Evans, Richard Heishman and Terry Evans. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of Henry and Victoria Fagel Kriegel and was born March 11, 1916, near Brooklyn. She attended Brooklyn schools.

She was married to Kenneth P. Heishman on Oct. 7, 1935, at Brooklyn, and the couple farmed in the Sheridan community until coming to Grinnell in 1963.

Mrs. Heishman worked as a cook at St. Francis Hospital for seven years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Surviving are three daughters, Anna Mae Collum of Grinnell, Kay Gibson of Toledo and Barbara See of Tama; one son, Ronald E. of Grinnell; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Henry Kriegel of Grinnell, Robert Kriegel of Grinnell, Bernard Kriegel of Hartwick and Larry Kriegel of Topeka, Kan.; and two sisters, Marietta Crawford of Malcom and Margaret Hill of Portola, Calif.
