MRS. JOHN PRYOR

A telegram received by W.T. Moyle Friday night announced the death of his aunt, Mrs. John Pryor, a sister of Mrs. William Moyle, Sr., and of W.J. Rapson, at her home in Long Beach, California. Mrs. Pryor was formerly a well-known resident of Grinnell. Her husband built the house on High street which is now the home of Mrs. C.F. Childs. The family moved to California about fifteen years ago and have made their home there ever since but they are well remembered by many Grinnell people. Mrs. Pryor was over 70 years old. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Gail, now Mrs. Arthur Adams.

Although a cripple from rheumatism for many years Mrs. Pryor rose above her physical infirmities. She had a wonderful spirit of joy and contentment and was truly loved by all who came in contact with her. The life which has just ended was a beautiful one and her sweet influence will abide with all who ever knew her.
