David W. Townsend was the son of Glenn E. Townsend, he married Lillian Francis Rennick in 1913. They had at least two children, Herriet (Townsend) Ayers and Edward Glenn Townsend. This David Townsend worked for MGM and can be found in the 1930 census for Los Angeles listed as working in motion pictures. He died in Sonora Pass August 6 1935.
